Some residents have reported receiving disturbing anti-choice flyers in their home's mailbox.
Under the Trespass Act, you can prohibit persons or organization from coming on your property. You must inform them in advance that they are not allowed to trespass on your property with a hard copy of a warning with your signature on it. A sample is available for download below which you can fill out and send if you want to.
Should they violate this warning in the future, you can make a police report for trespassing.
Toronto City Council has requested that City staff investigate the ways in which the delivery of graphic images can be regulated. A report is forthcoming in April 2024.
